Jawaharlal Nehru was born to a Kashmiri Brahmans Royal family on November 14th, 1889. Later he moved to Delhi and completed his Scholarship. His father's name was Motilal Nehru. Jawaharlal was the eldest of four children, two of whom were girls. A sister, Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit, later became the first woman president of the United Nations General Assembly. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was called Chacha Nehru by the children. Jawaharlal Nehru believed that Children are the real strength of the nation and the foundation of society. After the death of Jawaharlal Nehru in 1964, a resolution was passed in the parliament unanimously to honor him, declaring his birth anniversary as the official date of Children’s Day.
Children’s Day is celebrated on 14 November every year as a tribute to India’s First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. Children's day in India 2022 emphasizes the importance of giving love, attention, and affection to children. Schools conduct many fun-based functions and competitions for children on Children's day celebration.
Children's Day Speech will be conducted and the prizes will be given to children to entertain them and make them understand the contribution of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru toward Children's education.
On 14 November 2022, Monday, Gajera Vidyabhavan Sachin celebrated children's day. Teachers and students of primary section celebrated children's Day with a lot of enthusiasm. On this day students prepared beautiful dance and drama. Teacher's and students also given the speech about children's day. At the end Mrs. Neha teacher showed the PPT of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru's life.
