International Yoga Day

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated annually on 21 June since 2015. Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice that originated in India.
Yoga is a trend that has been flourishing from the years; rather this has become a trendsetter in maintaining both physical and mental well-being. Each Yogic activity is a key to improving flexibility, strength, balance and attaining harmony. A growing trend of people around the world embracing Yoga to stay healthy and rejuvenated and to fight social isolation and depression has been witnessed during the pandemic. Yoga is also playing a significant role in the psycho-social care and rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients in quarantine and isolation. It is particularly helpful in allaying their fears and anxiety.

Yoga offers physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages. And, if you’re going through an illness, recovering from surgery, or living with a chronic condition, yoga can become an integral part of your treatment and potentially hasten healing.

Gajera Vidhyabhavan Sachin observed Virtual " International Yoga Day " with our Gajerians from Pre-primary to 12th Std and all the educators also participated in this Yoga Day. Our mentor Dhivar Hetal guided everyone to do Yoga and all the students wore white dresses and teachers also. Our Principal Sir And Vice Principal Mam also join with all educators to do Yoga. We end the session with the pledge.

व्यायामात् लभते स्वास्थ्यं दीर्घायुष्यं बलं सुखं।
आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं स्वास्थ्यं सर्वार्थसाधनम् ॥
It means :
व्यायाम से स्वास्थ्य, लम्बी आयु, बल और सुख की प्राप्ति होती है। निरोगी होना परम भाग्य है और स्वास्थ्य से अन्य सभी कार्य सिद्ध होते हैं ।
