Team work! Is it important?

• Well before knowing about teamwork’s importance, first we should know; what is Team work? “Teamwork is working together of people to achieve a certain goal.”Teamwork is the basic need for an organization to function. Furthermore, every organization has a division of several teams to perform specific tasks.

• You can well understand the meaning of teamwork by given example. If you tend to work in a factory, why do you think the officers wish to recruit more people when they have to pay loads of money for the work you do? Suppose there are 100 people working in factory and they manufacture 100 items in one day. What would be the production rate if only one person is working? Now you understand the meaning of team work! Now come to the point, which is importance of teamwork.

Importance of teamwork

• Teamwork is extremely important. Whether it is a small business or a huge organization, teamwork is important. The prime elements of teamwork are coordination and cooperation. Every element in a team will need to coordinate and cooperate with the rest of the team so that the workflow is maintained aptly.A well-coordinated team is more productive.

• Most of them say,what is the need of others, when you are born alone and die alone! This is the trending quote everywhere. Is it true?Why do think we live in a society which is completely surrounded by people? Why do we have to go to school with everyone and why not alone when you are born alone and die alone? Why do you have to work in a company where most people do and why not work only by yourself?

• There is something right! That’s the reason we are surrounded by people. There is always a role of someone in your life and it happens to be worth. Even if you know or not but it does matter.

• When you are working on a project in your graduation, why do think groups are made? Why can’t you do your own work alone? Yes you can do but the time and investment will be more. In order to save this time and investment, team work is necessary. Also the range of ideas also grows.

This happens to be the case with every point in our life and not only to some project extent. If there has to be a single worker or Lone Ranger as you say, what was need of so many soldiers in the wars led by the kings in our history? Battles are won by team and team work not by one person.

• When you play a game of chess, you see there are different pieces which depict their own role. A soldier cannot be a knight or knight cannot be a king. Everyone has their own role to play and they together with proper planning can win the battle. Life is similar to chess board and the only difference is you will be the king in your way of approach and the other person will be king in his way of approach.

• Most of today’s people think of being self-made man/woman. First of all there is a different meaning to such thing. Self-made is nothing but working on your own ideology for the betterment of you and/or society. But even in that there is an involvement others. You may feel you don’t need the support from others, but how long will you be able to go alone? Not far enough.

• People are there to support you. If you feel like not to take any help from others, then let it be. But it’s a mistake. There won’t be any reason for you to grow more when are going alone. Yes you have to struggle and fight your own problems, there’s no other option but when your dear ones are present with you, you feel to have more courage and determination to go little further. That’s team work.

• So, When you are born, you are surrounded by people (doctors) and when you die, people tend you carry you. You are never alone. It’s just your mind pretending to say you are alone to demoralize you.

Everyone is king in their own life. Remember a person will be knight in other person’s battle but he will be the king when it comes to his battle. Team work makes a person’s work to simplify and amplify your range of work. Think better and make a group which will make you grow and also help them when you have the chance.

• Not everyone is adept at handling all kinds of work. Hence, a team is formed to meet with different responsibilities at different levels. This is why a team is formed where every member is designated with particular responsibilities. This makes a team very important for achieving success. It also boosts the confidence among all team members and let everyone do the part perfectly. This is why teamwork is important. Sharing is caring but helping is growing!

• Working as a team also makes new relationships. People come close to others and bond. They learn the strengths and weaknesses of others. In fact, we all start to bridge the gap and find our complementary strengths to cover the weaknesses of the others. This is how a team functions. We all should understand the importance of a team and stick to the values to give the best and contribute to a beautiful outcome.
