Rakhi Making competition

Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. This festival strengthens family ties, especially those between sisters and brothers. Raksha means ‘protection’ and Bandhan is a verb meaning ‘to tie’.

In the month of August To commemorate this festival, Rakhi Making competition was organized at Gajera Vidyabhavan, Sachin for the students of the primary section on 10 August .Principal Mr. Nitin Patil had explain the different ways to make rakhi . All the Student of std 1 to 4 took part in making Eco friendly Rakhi. Students made beautiful Rakhi’s using different articles like wool, satin ribbon, fancy threads etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating. Children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side. The competition was judged by Mr. Raju Patel And Mr. Jignesh Kunbi.
