Teacher's Day Celebration



  • Teacher's day is a special day for the appreciation of teacher's and may include celebrations to Honor them for their special contribution in a particular field area or the community in general.

  • Why we celebrate Teacher's Day on 5th September?

  • In India 5th September is celebrated as teacher's day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society.

  • 5th September is the birth anniversary of a great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnanan Who was a staunch believer of education and was the well known diplomat scholar the President of India and above all a teacher.

  • In the year, 1965 some of the prominent students of Late Dr S Radhakrishnan organised gathering to pay obeisance to that great teacher of repute in that gathering in a speech Dr Radhakrishnan Express is Deep reservations regarding his birth anniversary celebration and emphasised that his birth anniversary should be celebrated as Teacher's Day by paying homage to other great teachers of India and Bangladesh.

Since the year 1967 5th September is celebrated as Teacher's Day still date.

  • On Teacher's Day, student across India dress up as their teacher and take lecture in classes that are assigned to the teachers day represent sometimes teacher sit in their classes as student trying to realise the time when they themselves were student.

  • Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born on September 5th, 1888 in middle class family in the pilgrim town of Tirupati. His father said that, he did not want his son to learn English instead I wanted him to become a priest the talent of the boy was so outstanding that he was sent to school at Tirupati and then later he joined the Christians college Madras and studied philosophy Radhakrishnan by is a confidence concentration and the strong convictions went on to become a great philosopher.

  • He was an evocative-teacher exceeding the popular among his students right from his early days as a Professor at Presidency College Madras . He served as vice chancellor of Andhra University from 1931 to 1936.

Our school has organized the teacher's day celebration on 4th September ,2021.

Students have Participated in this event. Students played the role of different teachers

according their periods.

  • Our school Gajera Vidyabhavan Sachin have organized Teacher's Day celebratition. We arranged different programme. Our learners performed a wonderful drama represented on Teacher day and gave respect to the educators . Those who played teachers role they have taken the onlne classes and experienced the role of educators that how teachers are important in our life .

  • Students have share the review about the different teachers and their experienced. The principal Mr. Nitin Patil sir and Vice principal Mam Mrs. Anju addressed to students about Teacher's day .

  • In this way our school Gajera Vidyabhavan Sachin have celebrated Teachers day.
