WORLD BICYCLE DAY

World Bicycle Day is observed on June 3 every year to highlight the importance of cycling tradition and its significant role in keeping our health and planet fit.

Bicycle contributes to a sustainable transport system that promotes economic growth and reduces inequalities while strengthening our fight against climate change which is critical to achieving the Sustainable Development goals.


The health benefits of regular cycling include:

-Increased cardiovascular fitness -Increased muscle strength and flexibility -Improved joint mobility -Decreased stress levels -Improved posture and coordination -Strengthened bones

On 3rd of June our school had arranged a small rally of bicycles of 5 km. More than 30 learners had enthusiastically participated. Our Principal Mr. Nitin Patil sir flag off the rally at 10:00 am.

The aim of the bicycle rally was to increase awareness about the benefits of cycling, promoting non-motorized transport as a means to solve traffic problems and pollution in the city.
