June 7 is World Food Safety Day. The World Health Organization has proposed this day to draw the attention of people around the world to the risks of contaminated food and water.

Join the FDA on World Food Safety Day as we spread the word about ways to reduce the risks of foodborne illness, also called food poisoning.

World Food Safety Day was marked by the United Nations General Assembly on December 20, 2018 to celebrate the benefits of safe food. The WHO and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) jointly facilitate the observance of the day.

On World Food Safety Day our educators had performed a small act to spread awareness regarding the wastage of food and hygiene. Our principal Mr. Nitin Patil had started with a story regarding the hygienic food and proper hygiene.
