All over the world, June 21 is celebrated as ‘World Music Day’.It is one of the important parts of our Indian culture of arts. It honors musicians around the world and their contribution to making everything all that more melodious.


The existence of various genres in music does not only indicate variety but is also a reflection of the history and culture from which they have emerged from. World Music Day was the first celebrated in France in 1982. The Minister of Art and Culture, Jack Lange. Around 120 countries in the world celebrate this incredible day.

To celebrate the richness of music.

The students of Gajera Vidyabhavan, Sachin, celebrated World Music Day on June 21 and created a musical aura through some enthralling performances. The event started with a group song presentation by the students of classes 5 to 8 that made the audience dive into an ambiance of tranquility. This celebration of music not only played a vital role in the overall holistic development of the students but also created awareness among the children about the importance of music in our life. The next set of performers was the music teacher Mr. Akash Tiwari stole the show with her mesmerizing voice. All enjoyed participating in a small fun and interactive session. The event concluded with the Mr. Nitin Patil principal address and a vote of thanks by Vice-principal Mrs. Anju Mistry.
